The seventh annual StMU for the Neighborhood is going virtual. Run, walk or hike anywhere, anytime in one (or more!) of our four virtual races: Traditional 5K, Neigh-BOO-hood 5K, Dog-Friendly 5K and Kids 1K.

You can run, walk or hike anytime between Friday, Oct. 23, (starting at 5 a.m.) and Sunday, Nov. 8 (until 9 p.m.). Participants from every city, state and country are welcome to join in from their favorite running trails, treadmills, backyards, sidewalks or wherever else!

We ask that you keep social distancing and safety in mind if participating in a public place.

About StMU 5K for the Neighborhood
Since 2014, the StMU 5K for the Neighborhood has helped serve the needs of people who live near St. Mary’s. In 2019, Holy Rosary Catholic Church received $10,000 to enhance services and outreach programs in the St. Mary’s Gateway District. The church is run by Marianist priests and brothers and located next to the St. Mary’s campus.

Now in our seventh year, we continue our purpose to serve and support our neighbors. Proceeds from this year’s 5K will continue to support the partnership between St. Mary’s and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The church’s mission is to enhance services, outreach programs and the quality of life in the neighborhoods around the University.
