Please remember that the law school will be building two new classrooms onto the existing Law Classroom Building during Summer 2013.  One of these new classrooms will seat 90 students, and the second new classroom will seat 150 students.  In order to complete this significant construction, the Law Classroom Building will be closed for operations during Summer 2013.  That means that no law school classes and/or bar review courses will be conducted in this building.  That does NOT mean that the law school will not offer summer school in Summer 2013, or that bar review courses will not be offered.  To the contrary, the law school will offer summer school classes, but they will not be conducted in the Law Classroom Building.  Similarly, bar review course vendors will continue to offer bar review courses off campus.  For Phase I of this construction, the Law Classroom Building will shut down and be unavailable immediately after the completion of finals on Friday, May 10, 2013, as construction will begin promptly on Monday, May 12, 2013.  Please make sure that any materials you have in student lockers, the student lounge refridgerators, classroom storage areas, or elsewhere in the building is completely removed by May 10th as the building will be inaccessible for the remainder of the summer.  The Law Classroom Building will re-open on Saturday, August 17, 2013, in time for Summer Academy workshops for first year students, as well as first year Orientation on Thursday, August 22, 2013.  Phase II of the construction will continue throughout the Fall semester, and the two new classrooms will be available for use during the Spring 2014 semester.  We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve the law school’s facilities.
