The English Department will be hosting the second MAS Symposium, focusing on Antiracism and Latinx/Chicanx Cultures and Communities.
 
Join as undergraduate and graduate students virtually present on antiracism work and Latinx/Chicanx scholars and local activists and scholars discuss their antiracism efforts in the community and academia.
 
Noon to 2 p.m. | Student Presentations
Enjoy student presentations on research projects regarding antiracism work. Student presentations will be available Thursday, April 8, at noon. Watch the presentations at bit.ly/Student-Speakers-MAS-Symposium.
 
3 to 4 p.m. | Discussion Panel 
Discuss with three local activists and scholars share their work and advice on antiracism efforts during a question and answer session. Registration is required. Register in advance at bit.ly/MAS-Registration-2021.
