A 2,000-mile quest by St. Mary's University history
students is chronicled in the documentary film, “25 Texans in The Land of
Lincoln.” The film illuminates for Texas audiences their effort to repatriate
to Mexico the leg that once belonged to Mexican general Antonio López de Santa
Anna and to honor Abraham Lincoln for his support of Mexico and Mexicans.
The St. Mary's Department of History invites everyone to join
the students at the screenings at the Tobin Center Thursday, Aug. 1 at 9 a.m., and
Saturday, Aug. 3 at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and available online. To purchase tickets, visit safilm.com.
