International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education worldwide.


Coffee Mondays at the Najim Center
8 a.m. to noon
AT&T Center for Information Technology, Room 108
Faculty, staff and students are invited to enjoy
international coffee and pastries at the Najim Center
for their weekly innovation session.

International Education Week Poster Making with the
International Student Association
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
University Center, Atrium
Students are invited to write their names, class years
and the countries they would like to study abroad on
cutouts for a poster.

Food Fair
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The location of this event has been changed to the Contreras Family Terrace Lounge.
The St. Mary’s community is invited to sample food
from around the world.

Movie Night: Coco
7 to 10 p.m.
Dougherty Hall, Lobby
St. Mary’s students are invited to watch the movie Coco
and enjoy pizza, popcorn, pickles, candy and drinks.

Fair Trade Sale
10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
University Center, Atrium
Fair-trade items will be available for purchase.

International Education Week Mass
12:15 p.m.
Reinbolt Hall, Assumption Chapel
The St. Mary’s community is invited to attend an
afternoon Mass and reception.
Light refreshments will be served after Mass.

Trivia Night
8 to 10 p.m.
The Pub at St. Mary’s
You and a team of up to five people combine your
brain power to answer our master of ceremonies'
trivia questions. Fair Trade Sale gift certificates will be
awarded to the winning team.
The bar and grill will be open for service.

University Center, Atrium
Fair-trade items will be available for purchase.

International Student Talk
3 to 4 p.m.
Center for Life Directions, University Ministry, Foyer
International students will share stories about their
journey to the United States and St. Mary’s University.
Light snacks will be served.

Annual Turkey Fry
6 to 9 p.m.
Pecan Grove
The San Antonio Young Alumni Chapter invites the
St. Mary's community to the annual Turkey Fry, which
benefits Miracle on 36th Street toydrive and the local
community. This event will feature music performances
by The Rattler Band and the K-Pop group, sponsored by
the Center for International Programs.

Faculty and Staff Potluck
Noon to 1 p.m.
University Center, Conference Room C
Bring a potluck dish that represents your culture and
discuss your ideas for future International Education
Week topics or events with Center for International
Programs staff.
RSVP to by Friday, Nov. 9,
and include your name, the name of the dish you plan to
bring and the culture it represents.
Refreshments and dessert will be provided.
